PUBLIC EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SOLUTIONS, LLC (PEBS) is the only group
insurance agency in the State of Michigan with extensive experience
managing local government in Michigan. PEBS management and
staff have a full, first-hand understanding of the needs of our
public sector clients. We have worked for governing boards,
balanced budgets, negotiated collective bargaining agreements, dealt
with retiree health care issues and OPEB liabilities. We
understand the public sector because we've been there, done that.
We put that combined knowledge to work for our clients.

We understand the legal and political framework in which local
governments operate. Unlike other Insurance Agents, we know
what the OMA, FOIA, GASB 43 and 45, PERA, Act 312 and ULP's mean
when we are communicating with elected officials, management and
employee groups regarding public employee benefits. That
knowledge, combined with our knowledge of the group insurance
business, provides our clients with the unique expertise they need
to manage their benefits program and keep costs as low as possible.
